Mané

Customer case

Sector: social profit

Mané VZW offers bespoke professional care for adults with a non-congenital brain injury (NCBI) and/or a physical disability.

Client requirement

Reforms with respect to personal finance within the healthcare sector were forcing Mané to evolve from a supply-driven to a demand-driven organisation with a specific focus on the customer. This strategic shift and the corresponding structural and cultural changes required a carefully considered approach that took into account proactive involvement, clear communication and a successful plan of approach.

Approach

Supervision of this change trajectory according to the following phases:

  1. Determining the organisation’s mission, vision and values via workshops involving employees, residents, directors and family members
  2. Mapping the AS-IS situation of current processes and tasks
  3. Redesigning the organisation with an ‘Alternative organisation' in mind
  4. Change management and communication throughout the project
  5. Implementing the organisation shift (introducing the planning, objectives, linking it to other ongoing projects, team development)
  6. Supporting change teams, pilot teams & the management team via various workshops
  7. Training managers in their new role as a coach throughout the different transition phases
  8. Formulating a detailed implementation plan

Results

  • The organisation progressed from central management to shared leadership, and to an organisation in which employees share the mission and vision, convey the values, and contribute to the formulation and implementation of policy plans.
  • Employees take the initiative to organise their work more effectively and differently and spread their workload.

Moore Expertise

By defining a convincing, unmistakable ambition (mission/vision) recognised by all employees, by introducing logical values, by redesigning the organisation, providing scope for employees to decide and organise, by maintaining inspiring leadership, etc. we are creating a new organisation. We shape these activities on the basis of analyses, sounding board sessions, process mapping, co-creation workshops & training.
