Proud. That’s how we at Moore Belgium look back on 2024. It was a year full of challenges and opportunities, in which we were once again able to make a difference by staying true to our DNA: an organisation driven by values, engagement, and our Noble Purpose. That course proved to be the right one once again. As a result, all our stakeholders – from shareholders and clients to colleagues and society as a whole – share in the benefits of the efforts we make together.
At Moore Belgium, we’re proud of who we are. Our culture runs through everything we do: thinking along with our clients, growing together and supporting entrepreneurship. In 2024, our mission, vision and Noble Purpose remained the pillars of our DNA. They are the glue that holds us together and the compass that guides every action we take. This year, our culture became even more embedded in our processes, from recruitment to training and integration.
“Pride, to me, means being able to fully identify with the organisation, its values, its challenges, its people, its clients and what we have achieved together.”
– Walter Deprins, Managing Partner Accountancy & Advisory
We also experienced strong growth in 2024. Moore Belgium achieved a turnover of €216.9 million, a 25.0% increase compared to 2023. This growth reflects both organic development and strategic expansion within our core activities.
Integrations were part of that story. In 2024, we completed 17 integrations across the country. A human approach remains key.
“When we announce an integration, we always try to put people first – both the staff and the business owners. How do they feel at that moment? What does it mean to them to see the old family name replaced by Moore? The fact that we – collectively, with everyone involved – pay so much attention to this, really makes me proud.” – Mieke Van Aerde, Director Group Office
We also made strides in ESG. After outlining the first rough framework for a tailored ESG strategy in 2023, 2024 was the time to accelerate. A double materiality assessment helped set our priorities and also paved the way for concrete actions. Finally, the Moore Belgium Foundation launched a number of impactful initiatives for society. And we are especially proud of that, too.
Reflecting on a rewarding year is valuable, but at Moore Belgium we’re also looking ahead. Where do we hope to stand by 2030? “In the years ahead, we want to play a leading role in developing a strong pan-European network of like-minded firms,” say Peter Verschelden and Matthias Geyssens.
“If the satisfaction of our four stakeholder groups and our contribution to a healthy economic fabric thrive thanks to continuous collaboration and staying true to our values and culture, then we will have every reason to be proud – now and in the future.”
