Pieter Schiettecatte, PhD

Consultant

Grants & Incentives

Pieter Schiettecatte obtained his PhD in Chemistry from Ghent University in March 2021. Pieter has extensive experience in material science, specialising in (nano)material synthesis, characterisation, and device fabrication. He has conducted postdoctoral research on quantum dots and their applications in optoelectronics. Additionally, Pieter briefly worked as an R&D Engineer, researching power electronics. Starting in January 2025, Pieter will join our team to secure regional, national, and EU grant funding for green advanced materials and manufacturing. His knowledge will support our efforts to secure funding for sustainable innovation projects.
