EU4Health funds projects that improve health systems, support disease prevention, enhance crisis preparedness and response, promote access to healthcare and medicines, and strenghten the EU’s overall health resilience.

Supports projects that aim to build stronger, more resilient, and more accessible health systems across the EU. It reinforces crisis preparedness, supports long-term health priorities, and contributes to the European Health Union, including emerging challenges such as mental health, digital health, and medicine shortages

EU4Health was adopted as a direct response to the COVD-19 pandemic.
