Frédérique is a highly experienced grant specialist. He obtained his PhD in Biochemistry from the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB) in 2014, after which he carried out postdoctoral research at Ghent University and industrial research. After joining the team in 2017, he initially specialized in Flemish innovation grant funding (VLAIO) in the area of “life sciences and health” before expanding his focus to European research and innovation grants, including Horizon Europe (EIC, EIT, Cluster collaborative projects) and EU4Health. Frederique leverages his unique blend of critical thinking and strong project management capabilities to further develop and replicate new business opportunities within the team.
