Martin is a highly experienced grant specialist. He holds a PhD in Biochemistry from the Universiteit Antwerpen where he focussed on high throughput method development and data analysis workflows in complex biological settings. Martin has specialized in software, data science, and smart technology-related topics for Flemish innovation grant funding (VLAIO) since joining the team in 2017. Today, he uses his acquired multidisciplinary expertise on both technology and grant applications to focus on high-tech/deep-tech projects for VLAIO and European innovation grants like the Horizon EIC Accelerator. Martin acts as a company’s soundboard by providing valuable insights and expert opinion into the feasibility and potential impact of a grant funding project.
