**Robin joined the team in August 2025. He obtained a Master of Science in Biochemistry and Biotechnology from Ghent University in 2019, followed by a PhD in Health Sciences. His doctoral research focused on pain mechanisms in hereditary connective tissue disorders and was a collaboration between Ghent University and Rush University in Chicago. After a brief postdoctoral position in Chicago, Robin now works as a grant consultant, supporting innovative companies with funding applications.**
