He obtained a PhD in Chemistry from Ghent University in 2021 and has extensive expertise in materials science, with a focus on nanomaterials, materials characterisation, and device fabrication. Following his doctoral research on quantum dots and their applications in optoelectronics, he briefly worked as an R&D Engineer in power electronics. Drawing on both his scientific and industrial experience, Pieter now supports companies and organisations in securing regional, national, and European funding for research and innovation projects, particularly in the fields of advanced materials and sustainable manufacturing.**
