European Union’s funding instrument for **environmental and climate action**, supporting **innovative and demonstration projects** that advance EU policy and legislation.

 

 

 



  
 Supports pilot and demonstration projects that aim to improve the implementation of EU nature, environment, and climate policies.

##### Duration:

- 12 to 60 months

##### TRL:

- 5 to 6-7

 

 


#####  **Environmental** sub-programmes (65% of projects):

- Nature and Biodiversity
- Circular economy and quality of life (new)

##### **Climate** sub-programmes (35% of projects):

- Climate change mitigation and adaptation
- Clean energy transition

 

 


#####  Funding percentage:

- 55% to 75% (depending on project type)

##### Average EU contribution per project:

- €500 up to €1,5M

##### Application

- Open calls or calls with specific challenges
