# Horizon Europe – Pillar 2: Climate, Energy and Mobility

**Horizon Europe’s Cluster 5 Climate, Energy and Mobility** supports projects that contribute to the goal of making Europe neutral by 2050.

 

 

 



  
 Supports projects that advance clean energy systems, sustainable transport, and climate science to strengthen environmental sustainability, economic competitiveness, and societal well-being.  
  
Proposals must involve at least three partners from three different EU or associated countries, including academia, industry, and other relevant sectors.

- 12-48 months

- Research & Innovation Actions (RIA): 2-6
- Innovation Actions (IA): 4-6

 

 


##### Focus Work Programme 2025:

1. Climate sciences and responses for the transformation towards climate neutrality
2. Cross-sectoral solutions for the climate transition
3. Sustainable, secure and competitive energy supply
4. Efficient, sustainable and inclusive energy use
5. Clean and competitive solutions for all transport modes
6. Safe, resilient transport and smart mobility services for passengers

 

 


#####  Funding percentage:

- RIA: up to 100% for all participants
- IA: up to 70% funding (up to 100% for non-profit legal entities)

##### Average support per project:

- from 2M € up to 20M €

##### Application:

- Call for proposals
